Coady Photography was started by Jack Coady, Sr. in 1962. Jeff Coady, a 25 year Texas resident, began working for his father's company at the age of 14. Jeff provided winners' circle photography services around the United States and Canada, but began working in Texas in 1990 at Trinity Meadows in Weatherford. He provided photography, photo finish, timing and video services there and then in 1995 became the track photographer at Retama Park. This expanded to include Bander Downs, Sam Houston Race Park and Lone Star Park.
Jeff went on to expand Coady Photography to 25 tracks across the U.S. and is the leader in horse racing winner's circle photography. He was one of the first to move from black and white photography to color in the 70s and one of the first to transition to digital photography in the late 1990s. His passions in life were his family and horse racing photography. Jeff was a racing enthusiast who cared deeply for the welfare of the sport and it's people and was loved throughout North America for his photography, professionalism, kind heart and generous nature.
